Team History

2008 marked the 3^rd season for our team, known since it started as the Sonic Angels. The past three years were not without success on the field. In 2006 we placed 2^nd in the Kansas AA State Tournament and 7^th in the AA World Series. In 2007 we followed that up with a 9^th place finish in the Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat, CO.

In 2008, we stepped up our scheduling to compete at the AAA level. We did so with essentially the same roster that we had in 2006 and 2007. Highlights of the 2008 season included playing in the Slumpbuster Tournament during the College World Series in Omaha, NE.

While dealing with a series of injuries most of the season, we elected to play in the AA State and World Series, advancing to the championship division of the latter.

We have a talented and dedicated core group of players and coaches, and we are looking forward to taking the next step in our teams development, as we step up our efforts to help our players get ready to play in high school two short years from now.
